Been gunning for a 50 on fly rod since 2021. I got my first Musky on a Gunnar Brammers articulated super jerk fly back in 2021 at 30+ inches out of the Tioga river in NY State. Hoping to land a Tiger Musky on fly this year as well.

Great Info guys. I've rented a air bnb on otisco lake in ny and have 7 days to slay some muskie. I've read it's a well kbown musky lake. If anyone in the comments is from that area and wants to fish with me I'm there from August 5 thru the 13th.

I have sworn by red and white Dardedevils of different sizes as all around lures. The diamond patterns are even more effective with certain color patterns and water conditions. Roll them slow and steady with a rod lift and drop every 10 yards.

Love the net control with the seat. I do this all the time. Great content. You do what all great guides do - PMA, instructive and encouraging. There's a lot to guiding that doesn't translate over a static page and videos like this are what people should expect from a guide.

I’ve hooked one musky in my life and I wasn’t even trying to. We were trolling in a sailboat harbor in Fish Creek, Door County WI with some daredevils on spinning reels. Idk if it was quite 48 but it was one of the biggest fish I’ve ever seen…we didn’t have the proper equipment and she spit the hook right at the boat and flopped out of the net. My buddy is a much more experienced angler than I am and he was losing his mind. I’ve fished for many years since then and never hooked or seen another tiger musky but the patterns of Lee’s fish reminded me bc it looked just like that. I got one solid look at her from the side and it was beautiful. I’ve fished that same spot trying to catch her again for years but I don’t think they’re very common to that area…what a catch, congrats Lee

I actually caught 2 in one day. 41.5" on my black khaos psycho flap and a small 32 on a joe bucher black top raider. Hopefully tonight again on the first full moon, I can catch more top water fish. I saw a bunch last night.
